Dion, as always I appreciate you taking the time to share TMP's p.o.v. As I have said before, I do understand what you guys are trying to do - I don't agree with how you are doing it, but I do understand. [img]smile.gif[/img]
If you can/would answer another question (if not cool).
It would seem to me that the majority of people trying to "duplicate" orders still paid with a SINGLE payment method, just tried to send to different "names" and/or addresses (but all orders were billed to the same credit card). EXAMPLE: During the Biker Chick go 'round there was an instance where a comic store guy ordered the limit in the name of every member of his family (including kids as young as 2!!!), but he still paid for every order with one credit card.
OR
Paid with a bunch of different credit cards but all orders got sent to the same person. EXAMPLE: John Doe getting all his family to buy the limit with their own credit cards, but they are all shipped to a single name, John Doe.
I mean, have you really had a <u>lot</u> of situations where DIFFERENT people each paying with a credit card IN THEIR OWN name all tried to ship to the same address? Or does it happen most often in one of the 2 ways I described above?
I may be wrong (and I'm sure you'll tell me [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), but I find it hard to believe the majority of your duplicate orders occur under the scenario I described where BOTH the order AND the payment method are in different names, but just happen to go to the same address.
If so, that's some serious "conspiracy and collusion" going on between scalpers & toy/comic store owners & their employees to co-ordinate something like that..... and "proves" the point that the scalpers will always find a way while the little guys get screwed. [img]frown.gif[/img]
